Revisions & Scope Policy

Clear scope protects both of us. This policy explains how many revision rounds are included, what counts as a revision vs. a new request, and how we handle changes mid-project.

Work is delivered by Alpha Lab Technology, a subsidiary of its parent company Genesis Global Investment LLC.

1. What "Revision" Means

A revision is a refinement of work already approved in scope — for example: tweaking colours, rewording a paragraph, repositioning an element, swapping an image. It is not:

• Adding new pages, sections, or features not in the original quote.
• Redesigning an already-approved layout.
• Switching frameworks, platforms, or major technical direction.
• Adding new integrations (payment, AI, third-party APIs) not originally scoped.

2. Revision Rounds Included by Package

Websites

• Starter: 1 design round + 1 revision round
• Business: 2 design rounds + 2 revision rounds
• Premium: Unlimited design rounds + 3 revision rounds before launch

Web Apps

• Standard tiers: 1 round of revisions per major milestone
• Custom / Enterprise: 2 rounds per milestone

AI Add-Ons

• AI Chatbot: 1 round of training/tone tuning before launch, then ongoing tuning under your maintenance plan
• AI Inside Your App: Scoped per feature on the quote

3. Approval & Sign-Off

• Each milestone (design, dev preview, pre-launch) is sent for written approval.
• You have 5 business days to send consolidated feedback for that round.
• If we don't hear back within 14 days, the milestone is treated as approved and the project moves forward.
• Once approved, going back to redo that milestone counts as a new change request.

4. Change Requests (Out of Scope)

Anything outside the original quote is a change request. We handle them transparently:

1. You send the request in writing (email or WhatsApp).
2. We respond within 2 business days with a written estimate (cost + time impact).
3. Work begins only after you approve in writing.
4. Change requests are billed at GYD 8,000/hour or as a fixed quote, whichever fits better.

5. Scope Creep Protection

To keep projects on time and on budget, we will pause work and request a change order if:

• Cumulative small changes exceed 10% of the original quote.
• A request would push the timeline by more than 1 week.
• The request changes the core direction agreed at kick-off.

6. Post-Launch Changes

After launch, changes fall into one of three buckets:

• Bug fixes (our error): Free for 30 days post-launch.
• Content updates / minor changes: Covered by your monthly maintenance plan (within the included update count).
• New features or major redesigns: Quoted as a new project or scoped change order.

7. "I Changed My Mind" Clause

If you decide to take the project in a substantially different direction after work has been approved, we will quote the additional work fairly. The original quote covers the originally agreed direction only.
