Cancellation Policy

We want you to feel safe doing business with us. This policy explains exactly what happens when a project, package, or monthly plan is cancelled — by either side.

Cancellations are administered by Alpha Lab Technology, a subsidiary of its parent company Genesis Global Investment LLC. A notice sent to either entity is treated as notice to both.

1. Cancelling a One-Off Project (Website / Web App / AI Build)

Before Work Begins

You may cancel within 48 hours of paying your deposit for a full refund, provided no design or development work has started. Email us at alphalabtechnology1@gmail.com within that window.

After Work Has Begun

The deposit is non-refundable once we have started discovery, design, or development. Beyond the deposit:

• You will be invoiced for any work completed up to the cancellation date, billed at the package's pro-rated rate.
• Any payment instalments already made beyond that amount will be refunded within 14 business days.
• You will receive whatever has been completed so far (designs, partial code) once the final invoice is settled.

Payment Plan Cancellation

If you are on a 5-month payment plan and cancel mid-way, the deposit and all paid instalments are non-refundable, and any remaining instalments for work already delivered remain due. Work pauses immediately and is released only when the final balance is settled.

2. Cancelling a Monthly Maintenance Plan

• You may cancel any monthly plan with 30 days' written notice (email or WhatsApp).
• Your plan continues — and is billable — for the 30-day notice period.
• No refund is given for the current month, but you keep full service through the end of the billing cycle.
• After cancellation, hosting, backups, monitoring, and support stop. We can hand off your site to another provider for a one-time migration fee (GYD 25,000).

3. Cancelling Add-On Subscriptions (Social Media / Ads Management)

Same as maintenance plans: 30 days' written notice. Ad spend already committed to platforms (Google, Meta, etc.) is non-refundable.

4. Cancellation by Alpha Lab

We reserve the right to cancel a project or plan if:

• Payment is more than 60 days overdue.
• The Client violates our Acceptable Use Policy.
• The Client is abusive, threatening, or makes the working relationship untenable.
• The Client repeatedly breaches the agreed scope or refuses to pay for approved change requests.

In such cases, you will be invoiced for completed work to date and given 14 days to settle before any final files or access are released or revoked.

6. How to Cancel

Send a written request to alphalabtechnology1@gmail.com with:

• Your business name and project/plan name
• The reason (optional but appreciated — helps us improve)
• Your preferred final invoice date

We confirm cancellations in writing within 2 business days.
